FAQ
How do I calculate a percentage raise?
Subtract your old salary from the new one, divide by the old salary and multiply by 100. $100k to $110k is a 10% raise.
What is a good raise percentage?
It depends on inflation, your market and performance. Compare against posted pay for your role, not just last year's salary.
