We collect only what we need to run opening.live, and we never sell your data. This page lists what we collect, why we collect it, and how to have it deleted.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address. If you sign in with Google, also your name and profile picture from Google.
- What you save: the roles you bookmark and the status you set on each (Saved, Applied, Interview, Offer, Rejected).
- App settings: small flags such as whether you've seen the usage guide or received the welcome email.
- Technical data: basic request logs such as IP address and browser type, used for security and debugging.
We don't ask for your resume, salary, or job history, and we don't track you across other websites.
How we use it
- To sign you in and keep you signed in.
- To show and sync your saved roles.
- To send sign-in codes, a welcome email, and alerts you turn on.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Who processes your data
- Supabase stores your account and saved roles and handles sign-in.
- Cloudflare sends our emails and serves the site.
- Google handles the sign-in if you choose "Continue with Google".
These services process data only on our behalf. We don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your profile and saved roles within 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Email hello@opening.live from the address you signed up with, and we'll respond within 30 days.
Changes
If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and the date above. If a change is significant, we'll also email signed-in users.
